The demo FAQ and extension announcement explicitly confirm carry-over. They do not establish PS5 or Switch 2 transfer, nor do they publish a manual file-copy procedure.

Keep your current demo campaign intact. At launch, check the full game on the same Steam account before attempting manual migration; do not delete a save to test whether transfer worked.
