Count the heroes, mirrors, crystals, exits and separate islands. Add water, beam and star-color details only when you can actually see them.
Try this observation
Use a fresh starting state where possible. If you are mid-solve, note that in your notebook: moved objects can make a good guide appear to describe a different room.
